The Way We Work With Your Insurance
While we do our best to help our patients with their insurance needs, we can only serve as a middleman. And as much as we’d like to be able to solve problems regarding procedures and coverage, dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company.
As a courtesy to our patients we try to be as helpful as possible to check eligibility and coverage. However, dental insurance often restricts the information they give us. Because of this, we can only provide you with an estimate of coverage for each visit.
We understand that you have dental insurance and want to use it! At Derby Dental, we file out on your behalf for all PPO dental insurance plans. There are two types of PPO’s: In-network and out-of-network PPO providers.
IF YOUR PPO IS LISTED, YOU ARE WITHIN OUR NETWORK
If you don't see your plan listed don't worry, we likely still accept it! Just ask us when you call if you have any questions.
We chose not to be an in-network provider with certain plans due to restrictions and limitations they put on our office, thus limiting our ability to provide the best care possible.
Our patients don't need it.
