Rachel, Patient Care Specialist
Rachel has been in the dental community for over a decade and truly loves every moment. She is passionate about creating long-term family relationships with her patients, making sure they receive quality service and care. She also has extensive dental knowledge, and her experience in the financial and management areas of our practice makes her an excellent asset to our team. She loves working closely with patients to ensure they receive the best treatment and consistent positive experiences. When she is not at the office, she loves spending quality time with her husband and two kids.
Trina, Dental Hygienist
Trina is part of our rockstar hygiene team, and she has been in the dental profession since 1999. She is originally from Florida but has lived in Texas since 2002. Trina’s favorite part of her dental career is building lasting relationships with her patients and educating them on better dental health. She wants her patients to feel comfortable and have stress-free visits every time.
When not saving smiles, Trina enjoys spending time with her husband, Beau, and staying active, whether this involves running, hiking, skiing, or strength training.
Brijeet, Registered Dental Hygienist
Brijeet is originally from San Diego, CA, and moved to Austin in 2021 with her husband, son, and dogs. She has been in the dental field since 2009, first as a registered dental assistant, and then became a hygienist in 2015. Teeth and helping people have always been passions of hers, and being a hygienist at Derby Dental, she gets to do both. She enjoys educating and giving helpful tips to patients on getting and maintaining an overall healthy mouth and smile.
When she’s not helping patients improve their oral health, she enjoys taking her two dogs to the lake. She also enjoys traveling, being outdoors, hanging out with family and friends, and trying new restaurants around town.
Aly, Dental Assistant
Alyssa, known as Aly around the dental office, has been a dental assistant for over a decade now. She enjoys the fast-paced multi-tasking aspect of the job and getting to help patients feel more comfortable in the dental chair. She completed her training at the Center for Dental Professionals. She has a wonderful, very close family, and they love spending time together on the weekends. Her hobbies include anything with her nieces and nephews, bodies of water, and taking on various DIY projects.
Angel, Dental Assistant
Angel was born in Puerto Rico, raised in Long Island, NY, and he has been living in Austin for about a decade. He has been a part of the dental community for 8 years, and he really likes being an assistant because he gets to do a wide variety of things around the dental office and help people overcome their fears of dental treatment. He completed his training at Everest. He is a homebody who loves watching movies with his family and playing video games with his brother and friends.
